Epoxy Resin Mortars are the repair mortars normally selected for rapid and high strength concrete repairs.
They consist of at least 2/3 components comprising the base epoxy resin, reactive hardener and sand / aggregate fillers.
For Epoxy resin mortars designed for thinner layers or filling and bonding applications the ‘powder’ (sand / aggregate filler) component is more critical in terms of its grading and granulometry, so with these products it is normall supplied premixed with the base resin component i.e as a 2-part material.
Epoxy resin mortars designed for thicker layers are normally supplied as 3 components – resin, hardener and aggregate filler.
